Our Brand Story
Being from St. Louis is my favorite part of me. The home of Jayson Tatum, Smino, Red Hot Riplets. And the best Chinese food on the planet, outside of China. Itβs also the home of Forest Park, one of the most beautiful city parks in the nation. And the home of The Boys in the Park - the people who fought to diversify the game of golf for everybody.
They only had access to the course on Mondays until 12 noon, when a bell rang notifying them that it was time to leave. With this small time slot they created the Paramount Golf Club, attracting legends like Joe Louis, Bill Spiller, and highlighting the talent of local legends like the virtually unbeatable Julia Siler.
They built a community and a safe space for other people like themselves to learn and enjoy the most beautiful game in the world. I was brought into golf by friends who did the same. I barely touched a score card the first year I played. The round was measured with vibes - how loud we laughed and how happy we left.
This is why 12 on Mondays exists. Our entire purpose is to carve out space.
A space - for us.
A space for the homies by the homies.
